Product warranty information

Warranty

  • Mecademic warrants for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment to the Buyer that the product shipped will be free of defects in material and workmanship.
  • During the warranty period, Mecademic will repair or replace at Mecademic’s plant any part found by it to be defective, provided that the product is installed and operated in accordance with Mecademic’s instructions. Modification or disassembly of the product by the Purchaser will void the warranty.
  • The liability of Mecademic and the exclusive remedy of Buyer for any defect or breach or for any action relating to the sale of any products or services by Mecademic to Buyer, whether based in contract, negligence, strict liability, tort, breach of warranty, or otherwise, is limited, at Mecademic’s option, to repair or replacement of the defective goods or services or refund of the purchase price, therefore.
  • The foregoing shall constitute the sole and exclusive liability of Mecademic and the sole and exclusive remedy of Buyer or anyone claiming on behalf of or through Buyer.

Software Updates

  • Mecademic offers free firmware updates periodically to its robots.

  • Users will be notified of upcoming updates and the changes they might entail along with the instructions for the update procedure. 

  • The firmware updates can be accessed through the downloads section of the Mecademic website.

  • The end user can reach out to the support team for any assistance required with the firmware update.

Preventive Maintenance and Calibration

  • Meca500 doesn’t need any preventive maintenance or calibration procedures for its normal operations.

  • The MCS500 does require some minor maintenance, as described in its user manual.
